When the man upstairs designed Guatemala, he had mountain biking on his mind. Guatemala is a mountain bikers paradise. The country is crisscrossed with single track, jeep tracks, and dirt roads that are absolutely perfect for mountain biking. The Antigua Valley alone has hundreds of miles of trails to ride, simply more mountain bike tours than we could ever list or catalogue.

Whether you enjoy riding that twisty piece of technical single track heaven, grinding up big climbs, bombing down steep descents, or rolling a long jeep track cruiser, Guatemala has the terrain and mountain bike tour for you! We specialize in single track rides but have tours for all skill levels and can customize any ride to meet your interest.

Lake Atitlàn Pedal & Paddle

This is the perfect adventure for the true outdoor enthusiast. To borrow Aldous Huxley's words about Lake Atitlàn, this tour "is simply too much of a good thing, it touches the limit of the permissibly picturesque." The Pedal and Paddle tour is one of the best adventure tours in Central America!! This expedition combines Guatemala's best single-track with the open water adventure of Sea Kayaking in Lake Atitlàn's deep blue-green volcanic waters and a hike along the lake shore.  You can customize this trip and the activities to fit your skill level or interest.  There is a 3rd day extension option where we hike San Pedro Volcano.

Volcan de Agua
This is our signature Antigua ride. Sweet technical single-track climbs out of the Antigua valley high on the slopes of Agua Volcano. At the top the trail traverses the old growth forests before bombing back down to the valley floor. The downhill is steep and technical at the top and opens up to sweet flowy love at the bottom. The climb is big but the views are bigger. This is one of the rides that put Antigua on the mountain biker's map!

‹Cielo Grande Ridge
After a four mile climb out of the Panchoy Valley we reach the trail head of the Cielo Grande Ridge, or big sky ridge. It's Guatemalan ridge riding at its best. Here we traverse through coffee farms and old growth forest before hitting a long technical run out back down to the valley floor. Be prepared to climb, but the payoff is along the ridge and the tight trails make it all worthwhile.
This ride combines technical climbs with mouth watering cross-country single-track high above the valley floor. A cross-country rider's dream, this ride has a little bit of everything, and is always challenging.
