Kayaking

Lake Atitlà n Pedal & Paddle
This is the perfect adventure for the true outdoor enthusiast. To borrow Aldous Huxley's words about Lake Atitlà n, this tour "is simply too much of a good thing, it touches the limit of the permissibly picturesque." The Pedal and Paddle tour is one of the best adventure tours in Central America!! This expedition combines Guatemala's best single-track with the open water adventure of Sea Kayaking in Lake Atitlà n's deep blue-green volcanic waters and a hike along the lake shore. You can customize this trip and the activities to fit your skill level or interest. There is a 3rd day extension option where we hike San Pedro Volcano.
Kayak Rio Dulce
A 4 day full on adventure trip from the Rio Dulce to the Caribbean coast. We pull out all the stops with this one! Swim river canyons, don headlamps to explore uncharted river caves and soak under hot waterfalls.

Two days of sea kayaking down the Rio Dulce through amazing river habitat brings us to Livingston, Guatemala’s only Garifuna village, where we’ll check out the local fare and vibrant island like culture. Spend a night in a riverside jungle bungalow, search out the elusive Manatee at the nearby National Park. On the way back to Antigua we stop at the Mayan Ruins of Quirigua reknown for its impressively large stelae.
‹Kayak Monterrico
A 2 day paddling adventure through the undeveloped mangroves of Guate's Pacific coast. We will explore the mangrove mazes of the Hawaii-Monterrico Biotopo, reknown for its natural beauty, tranquility and abundance of water fowl and other exotic creatures that make the mangroves their homes.
The flat lowlands of the Pacific coast boast impresive views of the majestic volcanoes of the western highlands. After a day's paddle we arrive at the sleepy beach community of Monterrico, a unique and tropical black sand beach.
The next day tour the turtle reserve where sea turtles are bred for release back to the ocean. If you time it right you can sponsor your own turtle and participate in the "liberacion" or weekly turtle release race. A bit of a paddle back to the mainland ends this 2 day all inclusive tour to Guatemala's unknown and undiscovered Pacific coast.
