The historic center in Zone 1 bustles with crowded streets, bus stations and its fair share of pick pockets. It is a visual feast in murals, statues, public artworks and an incredible group of colonial buildings including the wonderful Palacio Nacional in the Parque Central.

3. Museo Nacional de Arqueologia y Etnologia, 7 Avenida, Zona 13 (just next to the airport). Presents an archaeological sample of the Mayan civilization.

4. Take in the vast collection of street art the City has to offer from statues and public murals to graffiti and frescos.

5. Go to Zone 1 and enjoy a tour of the beautiful Palacio Nacional, relax in the lovely Parque Central and get lost in the endless markets.
