There are loads of things to see & do on Koh Lanta. To try and save you some time in deciding, see below for our top 10 suggestions - Enjoy!!

Around Koh Lanta there are some incredible places to Dive & snorkel. Experience an underwater world full of life!

Take a lumbering passage through the jungle on the back of everyone’s favorite pachyderm. Marvel at the sheer size of your ride, pick fresh fruit from your seat, and observe Lanta’s flora and fauna from this unique vantage point.

Explore! The best way to experience where you are is to get lost… Rent a bike or a car and just drive wherever you feel. Don’t be a “cheesy rider”.

Nothing beats the sounds, sights and smells of a top billing Muay Thai boxing match. Easy to go and watch, pick your favorites and see how they do. If you are feeling brave(r), why not take lessons and become the next contender?

Live the high life! There are now a number of different ways to hit the high seas around Koh Lanta Marine Park from Long Tail boat to ocean cruiser…you know who you are! We know the captains!

There are many experiences that you can take home with you – why not make one of them cooking mastery? Explore the multitude of spices, fragrances, flavors and colors that make traditional Thai cuisine unique. After a short lesson, you can wow your friends back home with your authentic, exotic culinary skills.

Just a short boat ride from Koh Lanta there are numerous Islands to explore and claim your own for at least an afternoon. For the less adventurous, we have organized tours to the incredible sights of Koh Rok with its huge monitor lizards, white sandy beaches and excellent snorkeling. Or if you are feeling brave why not go to the Emerald cave? Swim the dark tunnel through the cliff until you reach an oasis of light and enter- what can only be described as a tropical Bond villain’s lair!

At the very South of the Island you will find the National Park (getting there is part of the adventure!). For the trekkers amongst you there are some good walks, for the rest of us it is a great opportunity to see some monkeys (and other wild life) and lay on the private park beach.

A convergence of many different cultures in a tiny village, surely should be teaching the rest of us how to get along? Wooden houses stretch over the ocean, life is slow; fishermen bring in their daily catch – experience a 100 year old traditional Thai village in its day to day and put your life in perspective.

Away from the main beaches you will find a multitude of deserted “picture postcard” tropical paradises to relax and contemplate. In between ice cold Singha Beers and dips in the crystal clear Andaman Sea, there is still plenty of time to top up that tan and read that bestseller you have been putting off.
